In March the WHITESBORO Fire Department were informed that they received a 2021 AFG FirePrevention and Safety Grant totaling $52,000. This grant was a collaborative effort between the Yorkville, New York Mills and Maynard fire departments. The vision of this grant is to purchase modern fire prevention equipment that can be used in each of their a communities. Also, the grant will allow these departments to develop like fire prevention programs for our schools. Some of the type of equipment to be purchased are pictured here:
