Fire Prevention

More Than Just a Fire Department

The Whitesboro Fire Department
handles various events throughout the year to promote fire safety and prevention.

Volunteers contribute more than 500 hours a year to presenting information for residents to become better informed. We as volunteers, visit schools, churches, daycares, senior living facilities, summer camps, businesses, etc. We also attend Open Houses during Fire Prevention Week annually. We promote an open-door feeling, we are always willing to speak with you about fire safety, give a station tour, or even just to have a conversation.

See more Fire Prevention for kids on our Kids Corner page and to for other fire safety topics, check out our safety section.
